Our Lady of La Ma Ben Tre
 
Our Lady of La Ma Ben Tre is a Catholic Pilgrimage site, located in Huong Nhuong commune, Giong Trom district, Ben Tre province. Our Lady of La Ma Ben Tre is the name given by Vietnamese Catholics to the phenomenon of the image of Our Lady of Perpetual Help appearing after the image had been blurred for more than 3 months lying in a canal. Local Catholics venerate and remember Our Lady of La Ma Ben Tre, and from that, more and more people to believe, have come to pray for their better life to the Virgin Mary. To honor Our Lady of La Ma Ben Tre, local Catholics and priests built La Ma Church in 35m length, 16m width, with a tower height in the ancient Roman-inspired architecture, inaugurated 1957. Our Lady of La Ma Ben Tre is not only one of the largest and most famous Catholic pilgrimage centers in Vietnam but also a place that holds the miraculous story of the Virgin Mary's apparition.  Do not miss to visit Our Lady of La Ma Ben Tre while you travel to Ben Tre Province in Mekong Delta.
