Day 1: Shanghai Arrival
Flight: International flight on your own arrangement or on request
Welcome to Shanghai, the metropolis of China. Your local tour guide is waiting for you at the airport, and then you'll be picked up and escorted to the hotel for check-in. The rest of the day is for leisure to get you recovered from the jet lag. Overnight in Shanghai.
Day 2: Shanghai - the Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund, Huangpu River Cruise

After breakfast, start the city trip after a short rest. Your first stop is the Jade Buddha Temple, a peaceful temple in the bustling modern city. Then head to the Shanghai Museum, one of China's best museums.
After a local flavor lunch, stroll the historic riverfront - the Bund, and walk around the famous and popular pedestrian shopping street - Nanjing Road. And your tour today ends by taking a Huangpu River Cruise to see the city from a different angle. Overnight in Shanghai.
Day 3: Shanghai to Kunming

Today you will visit the People's Square where you can get a lively picture of Shanghai's culture and history before your tour guide picks you up to the airport to catch a flight to Kunming.

Day 4: Kunming - the Stone Forest, Flowers and Birds Market

In the morning, explore the Stone Forest with impressive karst geology, which is one of the best of its kind in China. Covering an area of 400 square kilometres, there are diverse forms of limestone jutting out of the ground, shaping like like the tall pillar, sword, mushroom and tower. It is an natural wonder unmatched throughout the world.
After lunch, we drive back to Kunming to visit the Flowers and Birds Market in the downtown. It is the token of real life in Kunming, and you can stroll around the market to enjoy the multiple types of flowers, birds, fishes, etc. Overnight in Kunming.
Day 5 Kunming to Dali - Erhai Lake

After breakfast, we take the morning flight to Dali, a historically and culturally famous city of China. On arrival, meet the local guide and transfer to the hotel for check-in.
In the evening, head to Erhai Lake and enjoy a boat trip to Jinsuo Islet lying in the east of the lake. The scenery surrounding you is stunningly beautiful. Then drive back to your hotel in Dali. Overnight in Dali.
Day 6 Dali to Lijiang

This morning, enjoy your leisure time in Dali untill your guide pick you up to head to Lijiang, the former capital of the famed Naxi Kingdom.
A perfect combination of historical sites, snow-capped mountains, lakes, and ethnic minority cultures, Lijiang is a wonderful place to wander around. Walking in the streets and lanes, you can imagine yourself being in a bygone era.
In the afternoon, visit the Wangu Pavilion located on Lion Hill, where you can get excellent views over the Lijiang old town. Overnight in Lijiang.
Day 7: Lijiang - Tiger Leaping Gorge

Today, drive about 2 to 3 hours to Shigu (Stone Drum) Town to view the mighty First Bend of the Yangtze River and the Iron Chain Bridge.
Later, visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge, a magnificent canyon on the Jinsha River, a primary tributary of the upper Yangtze River. After that, drive back to Lijiang County. Overnight in Lijiang.
Day 8: Lijiang to Xian
Flight: Domestic flight is on Vietnam Catholic Tour's arrangement

This morning, you are free until being transferred to the airport to take a flight to Xian.
After arrival, you will be picked up by your local tour guide and escorted to your hotel for check-in. Later, discover the famous acient city of China at your own pace. Overnight in Xian.
Day 9: Xian - Terracotta Warriors, Ancient City Wall, Bell Tower

Today, your first stop is the incredible Terracotta Warriors, about 35 kilometers east of Xian, one of the largest and stunning archaeological finds of the 20th century.
In the afternoon, tour the Ancient City Wall, the best-kept city wall in the world. You can cycle or stroll on the city wall and feel its magnificence. At night, when the lights are lit on, visit the beautiful Bell Tower and Drum Tower, also the famous landmarks of Xian.

Day 10 Xian to Beijing - the Great Mosque, Muslim Street

Day 11: Beijing - the Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven

After breakfast, you will first visit the Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world, and then walk to the Forbidden City, the sitting home to 24 Chinese emperors of Ming and Qing dynasties.
In the afternoon, you will visit the Temple of Heaven, where the emperors used to pray for a good harvest. Overnight in Beijing.
Day 12: Beijing - the Great Wall, Ming Tombs, Bird's Nest

Today, you will head to the Mutianyu Great Wall, the most beautiful section of the Great Wall in Beijing, where you can hike or take a cable car up to the Wall.
In the afternoon, tour the Ming Tombs, a collection of mausoleums of the majorority of Ming dynasty's emperors. Then stop by a Pearl factory. On the way back to the hotel, you can take some photos of the Olympic sites - the Bird' Nest and the Water Cube. Overnight in Beijing.
Day 13: Beijing Departure

Day 6 Dali to Lijiang

This morning, enjoy your leisure time in Dali untill your guide pick you up to head to Lijiang, the former capital of the famed Naxi Kingdom.

Today, drive about 2 to 3 hours to Shigu (Stone Drum) Town to view the mighty First Bend of the Yangtze River and the Iron Chain Bridge.
Later, visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge, a magnificent canyon on the Jinsha River, a primary tributary of the upper Yangtze River. After that, drive back to Lijiang County. Overnight in Lijiang.
Day 8: Lijiang to Xian
