DANANG CITY – KON TUM – PLEIKU – QUY NHON ( 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS )

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Danang – Kon Tum 350 km ( L,D )
Meet at Danang Airport and transfer to Kon Tum. We head west the mountains, joining the Ho Chi Minh Highway at Kham Duc town for a visit the old Kham Duc Special Forces Camp. We then cross Lo So Pass, passing through remote areas thinly populated by the local Montagnard. Edging close to the border with Laos, where a number of Trail arteries crossed over in Laos. Near Kon Tum we stop to visit Dak To Combat Base which was destroyed by the NVA in 1972 then continue on to Kon Tum. We will take a Kon Tum city tour to including the 100 year old Wooden Church, Kon Tum prison and the suspension bridge of Dak Dri. Check in at the hotel. Overnight in Kon Tum.

Day 2: Kon Tum – Pleiku 50 km ( B,L,D )
Head south along the Ho Chi Minh Highway to Pleiku ( 50 km south of Kon Tum ). Check in to the hotel in Pleiku. The rest of the day we visit the old battlefield including Camp Halloway, Camp Enary – the headquarters of the U.S Army 4th  Infantry division, Catecka plantation - the former operational areas of the 4th Division and old Special Forces Camp of Plei Me ( 70km south of Pleiku ),from here we can overlook the infamous La Drang valley where the first major battle took place between the US Army"s 2/7 of the 1st Air Cav and the NVA in 1965 depicted in the movie " We Were Soldiers".  Drive back to Pleiku for dinner. Overnight in Pleiku.
 
Day 3: Pleiku – Quy Nhon 190 km ( B,L,D )
After breakfast, check out the hotel and drive to Mang Yang to visit the Dektu village of Bahnar Minority. Stop off at Dakpo ( road-marker Km15 ) to visit the famous ambush site GM 100 - where nearly 1000 men of French Groupe Mobile 100 were killed in an ambush in 1954, and also at An Khe to visit Camp Radcliff - the former base of the 1st Cavalry Division. Arrive in Quy Nhon check in to the hotel.

Day 4: Discover Cham culture in Quy Nhon ( B,L,D )
Today, we make a trip in Quy Nhon including visit of Binh Lam Tower & Thi Nai Citadel, The Oldest Cham Relics, Hưng Thạnh ( Twin Towers ), Bánh Ít ( Silver Towers ) & Cánh Tiên ( Bronze or Fairy Wings Tower ), Cham Ancient Towers is being built from 12 – 14th  century with the Art of Cham Architecture, Thập Tháp pagoda – The Oldest one in Binh Dinh connect closely to Cham History, Đồ Bàn Citadel – Ruin Cham Capital from 11th – 15th  century with Vo Tanh & Ngo Tung Chau Temple, remains of Original Cham Antiquities: Couple of Rock Elephants, Kylins, Square Well, Rock Deities…. After lunch, we continue to discover Phú Lốc and Dương Long Cham Towers. Return to your hotel for an overnight in Quy Nhon. 

Day 5: Quy Nhon departure ( B )
Free at leisure until transfer to Quy Nhon airport for your next destination. Your trip ends here.
