 HANOI CITY – HALONG BAY – HANOI CITY ( 5 DAYS / 4 NIGHTS )

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi ( D )
Meet at Noi Bai Airport and transfer you to the hotel in Hanoi. Hanoi boasts tree lined streets, French Colonial architecture and centuries-old temples. 
Free at your leisure until transferring for dinner at the local restaurant. We will then attend a performance of the famous Water Puppets. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi City.

Day 2: Hanoi Cooking practice ( B,L,D )
In the early morning, we set off to a local market where seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices are sold. The guide will explain and purchase ingredients required for the cooking class while at the market. The Chef will introduce the different cooking styles typical of Northern Vietnam and the dishes that will be taught during the class. After the cooking lesson, you enjoy a delicious feast of the dishes that you created, and get to take a copy of the recipes home with you.
After lunch, we explore this fascinating city including the One Pillar Pagoda, the Fine Arts Museum , the Temple of Literature , the Lake of the Restored Sword and the bustling `Old Quarter`, with its 36 ancient streets. Stay overnight at the hotel in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi to Halong ( B,L,D )
Today, we drive approximately 3 hours to Halong City. Once at Halong City, you will board a cruise in the crystalline emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning scenery of this UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site. During your time on the boat, you will be served a sumptuous fresh, local seafood lunch followed by a swim. You will also have the chance to explore some of the limestone caves in this area including Sung Sot Cave or Thien Cung and Dau Go Cave. The boat anchor at the lagoon in the evening. Enjoy dinner and stay overnight on the Junk in Halong Bay.

Day 4: Halong - Hanoi ( B,L,D )
Early rising to the sound of lapping waters of the bay, we have time for an early morning dip followed by breakfast. Sitting on the upper deck, you will have relaxing time while taking in the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the emerald water of the bay. The cruise around Bai Tu Long bay, passing by Bai Tho Mountain.
A fresh seafood lunch is served on board whilst exploring the bay. We will then return to Hanoi with a stopover at a ceramic and hand embroidery workshop. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi City.

Day 5: Hanoi - Departure ( B )
After breakfast, we transfer you to Noi Bai Airport for next departure.
