Tour itinerary:
Meet at your hotel and drive to visit Thien Mu Pagoda or Heavenly Lady Pagoda which is the 400 year old pagoda in Hue City and is now a symbol of Buddhist religion of Hue.
We then visit the Citadel, the former site of the old capital of imperial city with temples, beautiful garden & tombs. The complex of the Hue Imperial Citadel includes the Hue Citadel, Hue Royal City, and Hue Forbidden City- the former working and private residence of 13 emperors, concubines as well as eunuchs.
Next visit is Dong Ba bustling market where you can shop around for things such as Vietnamese coffee, lotus seeds….
After lunch at the local restaurant, we will visit Minh Mang King Tomb, the tomb is the majestic structure of the Nguyen dynasty that consists of more than 40 structures which include tombs, palaces, temples, and gardens. This fascinating attraction is a perfect combination of natural beauty and manmade design.
We continue our Hue City tour to visit the Khai Dinh King tomb. Khai Dinh Tomb is a stunning and unique royal tomb in Hue City. This royal mausoleum is a must-see for anyone who loves exploring the ancient, offering a glimpse into Vietnam’s rich history and cultural heritage. Thus, it is the most magnificent, costly and beautiful tomb compared to other Hue royal tombs.
End of the day we will take a dragon boat trip cruising along the Perfume river to see the activities of Vietnamese daily life on the river. Trip ends at your hotel.
