Long Xuyen Cathedral
 
Long Xuyen Cathedral is known as the Queen of Peace Cathedral, also called Regina Pacis Cathedral, a mother church of the Latin Catholic diocese of Long Xuyen. Long Xuyen Cathedral is located at 9 Nguyen Hue Street, Long Xuyen Ward, An Giang Province, Vietnam. The facade of Long Xuyen Cathedral features a large statue dedicated to the Virgin Mary and the Cathedral has a history of over 100 years with a bell-shaped roof architecture shaped like two clasped hands. Long Xuyen Cathedral was built between 1958 and 1973. It is 60m long, 18m wide, 20m high, and has a 164 foot bell tower. Long Xuyen Cathedral not only serves as a place of worship but also stands as a testament to the rich cultural and spiritual legacy of its area, resonating with residents and visitors alike.
