Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Saigon ( L )
Welcome to Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer to downtown for check into the hotel. After lunch, we will visit historic landmarks including the Old Saigon Post Office, Notre Dame Cathedral, the former Presidential Palace, the war Remnants Museum and Chinatown. Overnight in Saigon City.

Day 2: Saigon - Cu Chi ( B,L )
Today, we will visit Cu Chi Tunnels, an important base during the American and Vietnamese War, because of its strategic location. The tunnels were built by Viet Cong with a 200 km long network of tunnels connecting command posts, hospitals, shelters and weapon factories. Enjoy lunch at the local restaurant; we will then continue on to visit Cao Dai Temple. We return to Saigon City for an overnight stay.
  
Day 3: Saigon - Can Tho ( B,L )
Transfer to Vinh Long by coach stopping on the way at Dong Tam snake farm and the former base of the US 9th Division and Reverie Units, we then visit Ap Bac village-site of a ground battle between the Independence guerillas and the Army of the Republic of Vietnam.
Upon arrival to Cai Be, we will take a motorized boat ride to see the colorful floating market with local people selling, buying and exchanging goods on the river. Walk around to see orchards, rice paper making and rice crisps production process.
We will also cruise through villages to see the peaceful, tranquil life of villagers and admire the marvelous natural setting of the Mekong Delta region. Arrive in Can Tho for an overnight stay.

Day 4: Can Tho - Saigon ( B,L )
Our boat rides to Cai Rang floating market where the local people gather on the river to trade fruit and vegetables and other farm products. We will return to Saigon City for an overnight at the hotel.

Day 5: Saigon – Hue City ( B,L )
Fly to Hue City and transfer to the hotel. We will visit Thien Mu Pagoda and the Imperial Citadel, site of a bloody street battle between the North Vietnamese Army and US Marine Corps during the Tet Ofensive of 1968.
In the afternoon, we continue to visit Tu Duc Tomb and Dong Ba Market. We will then take a Dragon boat cruise for sight-seeing along the Perfume River. Overnight in Hue City.
 
Day 6: Demilitarized Zone ( B,L )
In the morning, we drive to DMZ, the places of military significance in the area including the former American Marine base of Khe Sanh, the Rockpile, Camp Carroll, Dakrong Bridge and the Ho Chi Minh Trails.
After lunch, we visit Truong Son Cemetery, Hien Luong Bridge, Ben Hai River and Doc Mieu Fire Base. On the way back, we will stop at the Old Citadel of Quang Tri- site of a violent battle during the NVA Easter Offensive of 1972. Return to Hue City.

Day 7: Hue - Hoi An Town ( B,L )
Head to Danang City, En route we stop at Camp Eagle, the former US Special Forces base. We then cross over Hai Van Pass with its spectacular panorama of the coastline and continue to My Khe beach ( East Sea ) for relaxing. We then visit the Marble Mountains which concealed a cave that provided a safe sanctuary for the guerillas during the war. Arrive in Hoi An Town for checking at hotel. Overnight in Hoi An Town

Day 8: Hoi An - Danang - Hanoi ( B,L )
In the morning, we will do a walking tour to visit Hoi An Ancient Town, a visit of Japanese Covered Bridge, the Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, the Cantonese congregation, the temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance. After lunch, we fly to Hanoi City. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi City.

Day 9: Hanoi - Dien Bien Phu ( B,L )
Transfer to airport for flight to Dien Bien Phu. Check into the hotel and rest. After lunch, we will visit Dien Bien Phu Museum, the bunker headquarters of French commander, Colonel Christian de Casties.
We then continue on to visit the A1 hill-where bitter fighting took place. Overnight at the hotel in Dien Bien Phu.

Day 10: Dien Bien Phu ( B,L )
Full day visit battle field: The old Muong Thanh Bridge is preserved and closed to motorized traffic-though not much more than a rater in the ground over grown with weeds is the bunker where Chief Artillery Commander Pirot committed suicide.
Continue a long distant to place where General Commander Vo Nguyen Giap of Vietnam Military controlled Vietnamese army won French in the war. Overnight at the hotel in Dien Bien Phu.

Day 11: Dien Bien Phu - Hanoi ( B,L )
Fly back to Hanoi. After lunch, we take a short excursion in the 36 streets of the famous Old Quarter by Cyclo ride, the Vietnamese rickshaw. Overnight in Hanoi City.
 
Day 12: Hanoi City ( B,L )
Today, we visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his private residence, One-Pillar Pagoda, Quan Thanh Temple, Army Museum and the Temple of Literature ( the first university of Vietnam being built in 1070 ).
In the evening, we have a chance to attend the Water Puppet show- a famous Vietnamese traditional art. Overnight in Hanoi.
 
Day 13: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay ( B,L,D )
Drive to Ha Long- the World Heritage Site granted by UNESCO in 1994. We then cruise through the majestic bay. The excursion takes 6 hours to see the beautiful and natural landscape of Ha Long formed by islands and islets. We explore the marvelous caves, Thien Cung and Dau Go. Lunch is served on board. We then enjoy the landscape of 3,000 small barren islands with vegetation, swimming and fishing. Dinner and stay overnight on the boat in Ha Long Bay.

Day 14: Ha Long - Hanoi ( B,L )
Return to Hanoi, en route we will visit Fabric of Ceramic, Dong Trieu, Dong Ky villages and have lunch. Rest of the day is free at leisure. Overnight at the hotel in Hanoi City.

Day 15: Hanoi Departure ( B )
Check out and transfer to the airport for your flight home
